BOISE, Idaho — A new indoor farm is open for business in Boise.
Locally-based agriculture business Greenscale marked the official opening last week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside its construction partners and the Boise Metro Chamber. Customer deliveries from the new facility are now underway.
“We started Greenscale because we want to create great food products,” said Scott Meikle, founder and CEO of Greenscale. “By actively leveraging the symbiotic relationship between fish and plants, we let nature do what it does best — create healthy, nutrient-dense produce.
