Kuna High School student stars with FFA speech

NAMPA — Liberty Simper is going places.

The 17-year-old Kuna High School senior dazzled on stage as she spoke to a crowd of nearly 500 people Wednesday at the Nampa Chamber of Commerce Ag Forum. Simper’s speech — how “Glyphosate is a tool, not a toxin” — drew a standing ovation from CEOs, city heads, law enforcement, and people involved in Idaho agriculture who attended the forum inside the Horse Park at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa.
