GARDEN CITY, Idaho–The first-ever Boot Stomp Dance-A-Thon, a 12-hour overnight fundraiser benefiting the American Cancer Society, took place at The Farm in Garden City. The event dedicated to 12-hours of dancing from 6pm to 6am!
Organizers say the high-energy dance-a-thon is designed to bring the community together to raise money for cancer research, patient programs and advocacy efforts. Dancers of all experience levels are welcome, whether they want to dance for an hour or go the full 12.
“Our goal is bringing people together on the dance floor, celebrating our survivors and honoring those who are no longer with us” said Elise Lorcher, event organizer. “We all know someone whose life has been affected by cancer and this event is a great way for everyone to come together and move their bodies.”…
