Canyon County coroner Identifies man killed in officer-involved shooting in Nampa

CANYON COUNTY, Idaho (CBS2) — The Canyon County Coroner has identified the man who died in an officer-involved shooting in Nampa.

The Canyon County Coroner’s Office responded Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at about 3:46 p.m. to a reported incident at the intersection of North 21st Street and Industrial Way. At the scene, the coroner’s office confirmed the identity of the deceased as Josiah Gilliam, a 26-year-old Boise resident. He died at the scene.
