HP announces plan to exit Boise site

BOISE, Idaho — Hewlett-Packard (HP) is set to exit the Boise area after more than 50 years in the City of Trees, according to an email sent to employees on Thursday.

The company in its email unveiled plans to exit its Boise site at the end of 2027. Members of HP’s executive team called the move “a difficult decision,” citing the impact on local employees and time in the Treasure Valley.
