Williams drops 40 as Montana downs Northern Colorado in Big Sky semifinals

BOISE, Id — If Montana needed a reminder of what March can look like when Money Williams is in full command, Monday night provided it in neon.

Williams poured in a career-high 40 points and the No. 4-seeded Grizzlies held off a frantic finish to beat No. 5 Northern Colorado, 95-89, in a Big Sky Tournament quarterfinal at Idaho Central Arena.
