A dozen properties owned by companies linked to former HGTV star Luke Caldwell are behind on Ada County property tax payments.
According to public tax records and delinquent notices obtained by BoiseDev, business entities affiliated with Caldwell’s design and real estate firm Timber and Love owed roughly $163,000 in property taxes to Ada County as of the end of January. This includes multiple years of missing payments stretching back to 2023, 2024, and 2025. Until the end of 2025, T&L was also delinquent on 2022 taxes for two buildings used recently as offices for the company, but those have had payments made in the past three months.
Property owners who are delinquent on their taxes for three years are subject to a process before the Ada County Commissioners, where their properties are auctioned off, and the proceeds are used to cover the taxes, late fees, interest, and other costs to the county. None of Timber and Love’s properties are in danger of this happening because the company made payments toward the taxes owed on properties with charges dating back that far in December 2025…
