BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A former teacher in the Boise School District says she was forced out of her job as a special education teacher and taken to court by Boise City Prosecutors. She says all of this happened because she reported a pedophile.
Marianne Baker has been a special education teacher for 30 years. She most recently worked at Valley View Elementary School. One of her paraprofessionals was Gavin Snow, a man Idahonews.com has reported on extensively.
Baker says that one of the rules in her classroom was no cell phones. Phones needed to be put away or in a pocket unless it was an emergency. Baker says she didn’t like how phones distracted people from working with special needs children, and that the children in her classroom were highly attracted to phones, knowing that they contain games and videos.
