The West Ada School District has selected Jeff Christopherson, currently the principal of Meridian’s Hunter Elementary, to be the first principal of the new Independence Elementary School in Star.
“The chance to open up a brand new school is something I am deeply grateful for,” Christopherson told the district’s trustees at Monday night’s board meeting.
