Boise, Idaho – Residents across southwest Idaho could face difficult travel conditions through the weekend as strong winds and a developing storm system bring gusty weather and mountain snowfall to the region.

Meteorologists say wind gusts up to 45 mph are already sweeping across parts of the Treasure Valley, with even stronger winds possible as a cold front approaches later this week.
