A Nampa legislator’s proposal to ban foreigners or foreign-owned companies from buying single-family homes in Idaho got a mixed reception this week.
On Monday, Rep. Jaron Crane, R-Nampa, brought HB 904 before the House State Affairs Committee, which would block anyone who is not a U.S. citizen or a legal resident, a foreign corporation, a foreign government, or a real estate investment trust with majority foreign members from buying homes in the Gem State.
