Meridian woman dies 2 days after crash

An 83-year-old Meridian woman died Monday following a crash two days prior.

Shirley Lovett, as identified by the Ada County Coroner’s Office, died Monday night at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center after lifesaving measures were unsuccessful, the coroner’s office stated in a news release. Lovett died of “complications of multiple blunt force injuries.”

According to Boise police, Lovett was driving north on Cloverdale Road, in west Boise, at 2:30 p.m. Saturday when she ran a red light and collided with another vehicle that was headed west on Executive Drive. Lovett was the lone occupant of her vehicle…
