Teens and tweens can ride the bus for free this summer through Youth Ride Free, a program born out of the City of Boise Youth Roadmap.
From May 1 through Aug. 31, children 18 and under will be eligible to ride Valley Regional Transit for free throughout the city. The roadmap, which consists of surveys and interviews conducted by Parks and Recreation with Boise’s youths and parents, found that transportation was the biggest barrier to accessing city offerings.
