Idaho State Police Catch Biker Doing 115 Miles Per Hour

A lot of people were out over the last week enjoying the beautiful spring weather in Idaho. One of those people was out riding a motorcycle at a speed that the Idaho State Police has called ‘reckless’.

ISP shared the details on social media and in a news release. You can see a picture of the incident below.

Idaho Police Arrest Motorcyclist Caught Going 115 Miles Per Hour

The incident happened on March 23rd, a little before 4 PM in Southern Idaho’s Canyon County. Idaho State police troopers noticed a motorcycle eastbound on Interstate 84 near mile marker 29 in Caldwell, traveling at a high speed and weaving between slower vehicles during a high-traffic time of day without using turn signals. A trooper clocked the bike at 115 miles per hour.

ISP stopped the biker, a 27-year-old rider, who admitted to speeding on the brown 2018 BMW R1200 motorcycle. The rider was arrested and cited for reckless driving. The motorcycle was impounded.
