BOISE, Idaho — Planned construction on the Boise Avenue bridge will continue into April, according to the Ada County Highway District (ACHD).
The highway district is performing routine maintenance on the bridge over the New York Canal. Construction was originally scheduled to begin in August 2025, but was delayed until springtime.
ACHD said work includes “preventative deck maintenance” on both sides of the bridge, formerly known as Healey Road, in Boise. Deck work began on March 16, while concrete for the first half of the project was placed on March 27, according to ACHD’s website…
