BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Drivers traveling along the I-84 Connector may notice construction underway near the Ada County Jail, marking the beginning of the first phase of a multi-stage jail expansion project.
In 2023, Ada County voters considered a bond to fund critical upgrades and additions to the existing jail facility. The measure received 65.8% approval but fell short of the 66.7% threshold required for passage.
