Gas prices climb again in Boise, up 9 cents in a week

BOISE, Idaho — Boise drivers are feeling more pain at the pump as gas prices continue to climb. The city’s average gas prices increased 9 cents per gallon in the past week, reaching $4.36 on Monday, according to GasBuddy’s latest survey of 216 stations.

Boise’s average price is now 68.6 cents higher than a month ago and $1.20 higher than the same time last year. The cheapest station in Boise was selling gas for $4.17 per gallon on Sunday, while the most expensive listed $4.99, a range of 82 cents. Across the state of Idaho, prices ranged from $3.96 to $4.99 per gallon, which is a $1.03 spread.

GasBuddy data show Idaho’s statewide average at $4.28 per gallon, up 6.0 cents from last week. Next door, prices in Ogden, Utah rose 6.5 cents to to $4.19, while Oregon drivers saw a slight 2.1-cent jump to $4.94…
