Downtown Boise Library temporarily closing for electrical work

BOISE, Idaho — Boise’s downtown library location will close for ten days starting Sunday, May 3.

Crews will install a new electrical system, as a part of the ongoing first floor renovation project. The building is scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, May 13, with public access limited to the second and third floors.

Returns will not be accepted at that location during the closure. Patrons can drop books or other rented items at any of Boise’s four other library branches, or wait until the main location reopens. Items placed on hold that are not picked up by May 3 will be temporarily available at Boise City Hall lobby from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 4-8 and May 11-12. Returns cannot be made at City Hall…
