Man who lured, offered meth to 11-year-old Salem girl with autism gets 25 years in prison

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for luring an 11-year-old girl with autism from her home in Salem in 2025.

Elijah Galaviz Arce, 49, who is from Nampa, Idaho, was found guilty on April 2 of first-degree kidnapping, second-degree kidnapping, first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree attempted rape, and unlawful delivery of methamphetamine. On Friday, a judge delivered a 300-month concurrent sentence for the crimes.

The charges stem from a report of a missing persons case filed Aug. 5. The parents of the 11-year-old reported their child missing from their home near Lansing and Kathleen Avenues Northeast in Salem.
