An approximately 30,000-square-foot and decade-long vacant building in Caldwell will soon be home to the city’s first Planet Fitness and third Dollar Tree.
Previously used as city’s first Rite Aid, the large commercial building located in the central part of the city at 2809 E. Cleveland Blvd. near the fairgrounds is being divided into two units to be occupied by the large fitness center and discount retail store. It also will also have a new address, which is 2901 Cleveland Blvd. Ste. 101 & 102, according to public records.
Planet Fitness currently has three operating locations in the Treasure Valley — two in Boise and one in Nampa — but soon will have five following its expansion in Caldwell and Meridian, which are both being built inside previous Rite Aid stores…
