CALDWELL, Idaho (CBS2) — Deputies recovered the body of a 62-year-old Nampa man from a canal south of Caldwell after a report of a person floating in the water.
At about 2:40 p.m. today, Canyon County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a body in a canal near the bridge crossing on Malt Road south of Karcher Road in Caldwell. Deputies found a deceased man face down in the water.
The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol recovered the body from the canal with help from emergency personnel and employees of the Boise Project Board of Control. The man was identified as Robert W. Nourse, 62, of Nampa…
