NAMPA, Idaho — The intersection of Middleton Road and Flamingo Avenue in Nampa will be temporarily closed from May 26 to June 1, the city announced Tuesday.
The city of Nampa states the closure is a result of a multi-phase roadway widening project that will widen the road to five lanes, and include a center two-way left turn lane, a ten-foot pathway described as “multi-use,” and drainage improvements. The bridge over Elijah Drain is also scheduled for replacement as part of the widening project.
Possible detours include Karcher Road, Midland Boulevard, Orchard Avenue and Midway Road, the city suggests.
