A former administrator with the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office pleaded guilty to using his official position to order a sheriff’s office employee to perform maintenance work at his house.
Thomas Brady, a 54-year-old Norwood resident, pleaded guilty Friday to one count of witness tampering and one count of use of interstate facilities to commit bribery or extortion, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Brady was the assistant deputy superintendent at the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office in 2022 when he ordered a subordinate maintenance officer to do some repair work on his home heating system, prosecutors said.
