TOLLAND, CT — More than $1,000 has been raised for the family of Paige Amanda Cooke, the 29-year-old New Hampshire woman killed in a Wednesday night crash on Interstate 84 west in Tolland. The online fundraiser is meant to help with funeral and service costs after the deadly wreck.
Cooke, who lived in Manchester, was driving a 2026 Kia Sportage when the SUV struck the rear of a heavy-duty truck, according to police. A 28-year-old passenger, Kristina G. Murphy of Wilmington, Massachusetts, also died at the scene. Police said the crash happened around 10:40 p.m. near Exit 68 and left the SUV badly damaged.

Police said Cooke and Murphy were traveling behind the truck before the collision. The driver of the truck, a 51-year-old Connecticut man from Manchester, was taken to Hartford Hospital with possible injuries.
