Massachusetts police oversight authorities voted last week to strip five former police officers of their licenses to work in law enforcement, adding them to a growing list of officers deemed unfit to carry a badge and gun in the state.
The officers faced a range of misconduct allegations and criminal convictions in unrelated cases, according to court records and documents released by the Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission, the state board that revoked their certifications.
