Rebecca Fadanelli, 40, of Stoughton, was sentenced to 46 months in federal prison and two years of supervised release for importing counterfeit Botox and dermal fillers and injecting them into clients at her med spas.
Fadanelli, owner of Skin Beaute Med Spa in Randolph and South Easton, pleaded guilty in April to four counts of importing merchandise contrary to law and two counts each of selling or dispensing a counterfeit drug and a counterfeit device. She was also ordered to pay more than $1 million in restitution and forfeit a matching amount.
From March 2021 onward, she imported counterfeit Botox, Sculptra, and Juvederm from China and Brazil and performed thousands of injections, collecting more than $900,000 — later tallied at over $1 million — in client payments.
