Northeastern’s Class of 2030 acceptance rate tallied in at 6.2% this year, up from last year’s acceptance rate of 5.6%, a university spokesperson told The Huntington News Sept. 4.
The 6.2% acceptance rate represents admission to Boston for the fall semester, and does not include any of Northeastern’s alternative first-year admissions programs such as N.U.in, NYC Scholars and London Scholars.
“Consistent with federal reporting guidelines — and the practice of other universities with alternative entry programs — the 6.2% admit rate is determined by dividing the number of students admitted to the Boston campus by the total number of applicants,” the spokesperson wrote. “This is standard across higher education.”…
