A mother in Lynn, Massachusetts, said she called police after the school bus that was supposed to bring her 5-year-old son home from his first day of kindergarten was hours late, raising concerns about transportation for special education students in the district.
Kelly Trickett said her son Ben started kindergarten Tuesday at Connery Elementary School in Lynn. Ben is enrolled in a special needs program and has a communication disorder, she said.
