SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Local animal welfare organizations are waiving adoption fees this weekend for all dogs weighing at least 40 pounds.
The fee-waived pop-up event applies to larger dogs and puppies across four MSPCA-Angell locations and three partner shelters.
The initiative comes one week after a nor’easter disrupted a previously scheduled fall adoption event, leaving shelters short of their 100-dog goal. Hill’s Pet Nutrition is sponsoring the adoptathon as part of its Home Sweet Homecoming campaign…
