MassDOT studies faster, more frequent Albany-Boston trains

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WNYT)- The future of train service between Albany, Pittsfield and Boston is under review as Massachusetts looks at faster trips and more frequent service.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) held a public meeting in Pittsfield on the future of rail service on the line. Right now, there is only one train a day in each direction between Albany, Pittsfield and Boston.
