BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The five-story building at 900 Morrissey Avenue was once a hotel. Now, it’s an apartment building for 99 aging Boston residents who once were homeless.
“All of the tenants here are over 62… More importantly, everyone here is now a tenant,” said Lyndia Downie, President and Director of homeless aid organization Pine Street Inn. “They’re a friend, they’re a neighbor now, they’re not worried about where they’re going to sleep tonight.”
