Man Arrested at Boston’s JFK-UMass MBTA Station After Threatening Passenger with Knife

Early morning commuters at the JFK-UMass station of the MBTA were witnesses to a harrowing incident involving a knife-wielding man threatening another passenger. According to a tweet from the MBTA Transit Police, officers arrested a 35-year-old male around 7:45 a.m. after he brandished a knife and threatened to stab a fellow passenger without any apparent reason. The suspect was subsequently transported to the TPD headquarters for the arrest and booking process.
