Boston Police Department Introduces ‘Safe Exchange Zones’ across the City for Secure Online Transactions

In an age where online marketplaces are the new street corners for buyers and sellers, the Boston Police Department (BPD) is stepping up efforts to provide city residents with a safer way to conduct their transactions. Recognizing the inherent dangers of meeting up with strangers, the BPD has established “Safe Exchange Zones” inside all Boston Police District Stations, as well as BPD Headquarters, aimed to keep community members secure as they exchange goods.
