BOSTON – Uber plans to lay off all of the employees of Drizly, an alcohol delivery app founded in Boston, according to a notice reported to Massachusetts officials. Uber purchased Drizly in early 2021 for $1.1 billion. Drizly, which serves more than 1,400 cities, grew to become North America’s largest online alcohol marketplace. According to Uber, the app will officially shut down at the end of March.
