Popular Massachusetts Bargain Store Announces Closure Of Brighton Location

BinStar, a popular Massachusetts bargain store known for its fun and sustainable shopping experience, has announced the closure of its Brighton location. This decision was announced by Jack Laughlin, the CEO and founder of BinStar, in a message to the community.

Jack Laughlin explained the reasons behind the closure, stating, “To ensure we can continue to provide the best possible experience for our employees and customers, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our Brighton location, effective Wednesday August 14, 2024.” He acknowledged that the growth from their first store in Avon to their third store in Saugus within a year brought about “important learnings and unexpected challenges.”

The closure was primarily influenced by feedback from both the team and customers. Laughlin mentioned, “This was a tough call. I decided to close the store due to consistent feedback from the team–and from you, our customers–that operating the store was too difficult to provide the stellar customer & associate experiences we strive to deliver every day.”
