Methuen Mayor Neil Perry died at age 65 Saturday after many “health battles” over the last several years, his office announced Saturday evening. Perry, a democrat, was elected mayor in 2019. Councilor At-Large David “DJ” Beauregard Jr. will now serve as acting mayor, the mayor’s office said in a press release.
