During patrol near Warren Street, officers conducted an inquiry on a vehicle linked to a Brookline incident. They initiated a traffic stop using emergency lights and sirens. The vehicle’s operator initially refused to lower his window and locked the doors but eventually complied. Officers later asked the operator to exit the vehicle, leading to his temporary non-compliance and an attempt to leave, resulting in a struggle and arrest. Officers discovered three envelopes with checks bearing multiple names, a Glock-style BB gun, HEET water remover, and brake fluid in the vehicle. A total of 236 fraudulent checks valued at $389,808 were also seized.
