BROCKTON, Mass. (WWLP) – A Brockton man was arrested on Tuesday after a lengthy investigation in connection with trafficking “massive amounts” of fentanyl and cocaine.
According to the Massachusetts State Police, an investigation began in August targeting a suspect, 38-year-old Josue Torres of Brockton for distributing narcotics throughout Plymouth and Norfolk Counties. Undercover investigators conducted surveillance and narcotics purchases.

During the investigation, Torres changed addresses between Brockton, Stoughton, and Randolph and allegedly conducted numerous narcotics sales in those areas. A search warrant was conducted at all three residences on Tuesday.
Police seized nearly 940 grams of cocaine, 280 grams of crack cocaine, a small amount of fentanyl, and an unregistered/unmarked 9mm “ghost gun” loaded with 13 rounds of ammunition in a high-capacity magazine.
Torres was arrested and arraigned in Brockton District Court where his $150,000 bail was revoked due to pending trafficking fentanyl and cocaine charges out of Plymouth District Court.
