Celtics defeat Bucks in hard-fought game, 119-108

The Boston Celtics defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, 119-108. The hero of the game was Payton Pritchard, who had 28 points off the bench, and tied the Celtics record for threes off the bench, with eight of them.

For most of the game, it was neck and neck. It seemed like the Bucks had an answer for everything the Celtics threw at them. The C’s also did poorly on offense, except for Pritchard and a couple others.

However, after one questionable call by the refs that turned into a technical foul for head coach Joe Mazzulla, the team flipped a switch. They outright dominated from then on, and were able to shut the door on the Bucks.

At the end, Jaylen Brown led the team with 30 points, then Pritchard with 28, and then Jrue Holiday with 21. Jayson Tatum didn’t shoot well, but he had 15 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

The Celtics will try to make their record 5-0 in an Eastern Conference Finals rematch against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday, October 30th at 7pm EST.
