15-year-old held without bail after home invasion, armed robbery in West Roxbury

A 15-year-old West Roxbury boy was ordered held without bail and two others are being sought in connection with a home invasion and armed robbery involving a gun, knives and the theft of high-end clothing and shoes, the district attorney said.

The boy, a West Roxbury teen who was not identified because he is a juvenile, was held pending a dangerousness hearing on Jan. 10 after he was charged in Dorchester Juvenile Court, Suffolk District Attorney Kevin Hayden said.

Prosecutors also asked the judge to revoke the boy’s bail on two open cases. The judge did not rule on that request pending the dangerousness hearing.

Prosecutors allege that in November, the boy and two other males brandished weapons and stole an iPhone and numerous clothing items from a male victim, including the $300 Spyder pants the victim was wearing.

Police are still searching for two other males involved in the incident, Hayden said.

At about 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17, the three males entered a home on Weld Street in West Roxbury, Hayden said.
