A death investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed in Charlestown on Saturday night.
According to police around 10:33 p.m., officers responded to 140 Main Street in Charlestown for a report of a pedestrian struck at that location.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male lying on the ground in the parking lot.
Further investigation revealed the victim had been shot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
