“Dropdeadlola”: Massachusetts Woman Sentenced In ID Theft Scheme Tied to Drug Trafficking Apartments

A Boston woman, known by aliases including “Lola” and “dropdeadlola,” was sentenced on May 22, 2025, to two years’ probation for her role in an identity theft conspiracy that secured apartments used for drug trafficking.

Ashley Roostaie, 38, appeared before U.S. District Court Judge Patti B. Saris. In addition to probation, Roostaie was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and $1,000 in restitution. She had previously pleaded guilty in February 2025 to one count of access device fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit access device fraud and aggravated identity theft.

The charges, originally filed in April 2023, stemmed from Roostaie’s collaboration with co-conspirator Terrence Pyrtle.
