Dear Billy T and Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line,
Here’s the thing… I feel like the one person in the world you should be able to trust is a cop with the facts of the case. For me, any evidence that has to do with Michael Proctor – interviews, evidence he cataloged, etc. is all invalidated by him sending those text messages. I think those messages, combined with the fact that absolutely nothing else was even considered shows his absolute bias.
And his bias is absolutely reasonable doubt. I didn’t watch the first trial, I don’t know what case the defense will present… but I know if I was a juror, I’d have to wonder if “she’s going down for this” is because he’d make it that way because he thinks she’s a “whack job see you next Tuesday”. Not to mention the absolute mockery these officers made of the *actual* evidence by not following protocol. It’s almost like they did it on purpose, because what officer was not trained to collect evidence properly? I’m not saying she did or she didn’t. I’m simply saying my personal opinion is that the prosecutions case has issues that would be a huge problem for me if I was a juror…
