JetBlue plane veers off Boston runway after landing; none injured

(NewsNation) — No one was injured Thursday when a JetBlue aircraft veered off the runway after landing at Boston’s Logan Airport, creating a ground stop, officials said.

JetBlue issued a statement that the aircraft, which had just arrived from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, left the runway after landing and veered into a grassy area. Officials said that passengers were being taken off the aircraft and would be bused to the terminal.

“Safety is JetBlue’s top priority,” the airline said. “We will conduct a full investigation of the incident and will work closely with the relevant authorities to understand the cause.”
