Northeast governors, Canadian premiers meeting in Boston on Monday

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts governor Maura Healey and Rhode Island governor Dan McKee will be among a crowd of ten of their peers in Boston on Monday to discuss current affairs.

Healey set up the meeting in May, when she invited the premiers of Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island to meet with the governors of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut and New York.

The state and provincial leaders will focus on the impacts of tariffs recently imposed by President Donald Trump and how the twelve states and provinces can continue to work together to maintain beneficial economic relationships…
