BOSTON — A 24-year-old Leominster man was arrested on multiple firearm charges Friday evening after Boston police officers recovered a loaded Glock pistol during a stop in Dorchester.
Edwin Gomez was taken into custody at approximately 6:30 p.m. at 230 Columbia Road following a subject stop by officers assigned to District B-3.
Officers were patrolling the area of Devon Street and Columbia Road in response to an earlier traffic stop near 157 Washington Street where one firearm was recovered and the vehicle’s operator fled on foot…
