Over the weekend, Boston police made significant arrests in Dorchester, confiscating two firearms and large amounts of narcotics in a coordinated drug operation. According to a police report, officers arrested Rahsaan Lashley, 39, and Bianca Lee Cruz, 43, both residents of Dorchester, following the execution of search warrants at 16 Old Road.
Surveillance set up by the Drug Control Units of District C-6, B-2, and the Citywide DCU observed the target of a investigation leaving a building Saturday morning. Lashley was subsequently stopped and informed about the search warrant. A subsequent raid on the apartment ensued, where officers apprehended Cruz on two outstanding warrants. She is expected to face various charges.
The official statement detailed the seizure of a Colt MK4 with six rounds in the chamber, a Cobra CB Special with two rounds, approximately forty-five grams of crack cocaine, and two grams of fentanyl.
