Pest control company Orkin has unveiled its annual list of the Top 50 Bedbug Cities in the United States, and one New England city made the “biggest leap” for 2025.
Debuting at 35th place, Hartford, Connecticut jumped “an unprecedented 48 spots — indicating a significant increase in bedbug activity,” Orkin stated in its report.
Orkin’s rankings are based on treatment data from metro areas where it performed the most bedbug treatments from May 14, 2024 through May 14, 2025 and encompasses both residential and commercial bed bug treatments, the company said.
