Service on MBTA commuter rail line disrupted after car crashes into train

Service on one of the MBTA’s commuter rail lines was disrupted on Tuesday afternoon after a car crashed into a train, officials said.

The driver of a Tesla drove around closed crossing gates and struck a commuter rail train in Hingham, a Keolis spokesperson told Boston 25 News.

As a result of the crash, Keolis said service on the Greenbush Line would be temporarily replaced by shuttle buses between East Weymouth and Greenbush stations…
