BOSTON (WWLP) – A couple from Randolph has pleaded guilty to defrauding dozens of investors out of millions of dollars through a Ponzi scheme.
Court documents stated that between early 2018 and December 2022, 33-year-old Milendophe Duperier and 26-year-old Vanessa Joseph of Randolph worked together, with Duperier acting as an investment advisor and Joseph serving as his business partner.

During this time, the couple allegedly defrauded dozens of individuals by falsely claiming that their investments would be used entirely to purchase securities. Instead, Duperier and Joseph reportedly used the funds to pay prior investors and for personal expenses, such as luxury vehicles, mortgages, and credit card debt.
Throughout the scheme, Duperier and Joseph applied for and received several small business loans, using the payments to pay investment returns to victim investors. Duperier also allegedly made false claims and excuses to investors about why he had not made the promised interest payments…
